while Botwood Collegiate is the local high school.
Each of these institutions provide the very best in education
and extra-curricular activities to the youth in this area,
offering the full compliment of courses provided by all
schools in Newfoundland & Labrador. Botwood
Collegiate also has a co-op program, where students not
only learn in the classroom, but in an actual working
environment as well. Families considering on making

will receive only the best education. |
| Churches |
|
 |
|
Like many of Newfoundland & Labrador's communities,
Botwood has a strong spiritual influence. Numerous
churches and religious facilities populate the local area,
and Botwood also follows suit, hosting six separate, beautifully-designed
churches. Each of these churches feature their own
calendars, events, staff, and congregations. With
this wide selection, anyone can fulfill their spiritual
needs, regardless of religious background or faith.
Not only does Botwood provide a wide variety of churches,
it also contains another religious institution, the Agape
House. The Agape House is a location where people
can go to sing, praise, and have fun time with family
and friends. |

| Other Services |
|
 |
|
Botwood also contains a number of services which often
go unseen and are taken for granted in most communities,
but would be sorely missed were they not present.
Emergency help is always available with a fully staffed
fire and police force, and the local ambulance service,
Freak's Ambulance, ensures first aid is always readily
available. The Bank of Montreal and Botwood's local
post office are two more services which are often overlooked
but would be sorely missed.
Other services, while not as important as the aforementioned,
still play a significant role in the town's development.
The 50 Plus Club, Royal Canadian Legion, The Kinsmen Club,
and the Lion's Club are all facilities which are often
used by various parties and organizations throughout the
town, on both a regular basis and by special requests.
A number of restaurants, confectionary stores, pharmaceutical
services, grocery stores, and other such amenities are
available throughout Botwood, providing all the comforts
and pleasures of home.
